One of the main goals established by LOMCE, is achieving Communicative Competence, that is, students should be competent enough to communicate in diverse communicative situations. Besides, the use of New Technologies, intermingled with Key Competences and the development of a Critical Thinking, make this project a perfect tool in order to get this goal. Moreover, this project, tries to give answer to the great variety of intelligences through motivating activities. The main didactic objectives can be summarized as follows:
To provide students with communicative and real-like situations.
To motivate students towards English learning.
To develop critical thinking and learning through discovery.
To develop student's abilities to face and solve different problem situations.
To give an answer to student's interests and learning capacities.
To encourage students towards English learning and multicultural aspects.
As the title of the project shows, students are going to initiate a trip towards British culture, through different tasks and activities.The classroom will turn into a micro- British world and they will turn into citizens travelling to another country. In that process they will be doing different tasks. The main tasks proposed are the following ones:
Decide the place they are travelling to. Get a flight-ticket and check in at the airport. Act it out. Role play (some selected videos will be uploaded). Students are provided with material such as worksheets with useful phrases to be used in these contexts and also with some videos.
The second task we have just started this week (29th March) deals with the creation of a communicative situation at arestaurant. Students will have to create a role play and a menu list. Then, we will record it. The students will learn how to make a reservation and how to order food, pay the bill, etc. The main materials they will be using, will be worksheets, videos, and anything to make the situation more similar to real life situations.

EVALUATION: GOOD PRESENTATION, INFORMATION, LAST DOSSIER WITH THE INFORMATION OF THE THREE PROJECTS COMPLETED, COOPERATIVE WORK, ENOUGH FOR THE MARK, APPEARANCE, SIMILAR TO REAL LIFE INFORMATION AND BROCHURES, ORIGINALITY.
